Nudge provides automated payment reminder tools for contractors and small businesses. You are responsible for the accuracy of invoice data you enter and for ensuring you have consent to contact your customers via email and SMS.
Basic currently includes 200 SMS credits per calendar month and Pro currently includes 750 SMS credits per calendar month. Where applicable, the free trial receives the Basic allowance. Included credits reset on the applicable monthly cycle and do not roll over. Included allowances require an eligible active account or subscription.
One SMS credit represents one carrier SMS segment. A single visible reminder can use multiple credits because of message length, Unicode characters, rendered merge fields, links, compliance/footer language, attachments-related text, or a required first-contact disclosure message.
On the Nudge website, eligible active paid Basic and Pro subscribers can buy optional one-time SMS credit packs: 200 credits for $9.99 or 500 credits for $19.99. These are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically. Purchased credits are separate from included credits, do not reset with the monthly included allowance, and remain associated with the account through Basic/Pro plan changes. Cancellation or loss of paid access will not automatically erase a stored purchased balance, but purchased credits will not be spendable while the account is ineligible for SMS sending; reactivation will restore access to the remaining balance. In-app purchases are not offered in the Android app.
Purchased packs have no cash value and will not be transferable unless Nudge expressly supports transfers. Credits associated with a refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or charged-back purchase may be removed, and already-consumed credits may affect refund eligibility or require an account adjustment, subject to applicable law. Permanent account deletion forfeits remaining purchased credits except where applicable law requires otherwise. Fraud, abuse, or Terms violations may result in suspension or termination and affect credit access, subject to applicable legal rights. If Nudge permanently discontinues a purchased-credit or SMS service, it will handle outstanding balances as required by applicable law and any then-current terms, without promising a remedy not yet determined.
Credits are consumed for billable SMS delivery attempts. A provider rejection before acceptance does not consume the associated credits; an accepted send may consume them. If the provider outcome is genuinely indeterminate, Nudge may conservatively treat the attempted segment as consumed to avoid duplicate sends and accounting inconsistencies.
Program name: Nudge Invoice Reminders
Description: When you provide a customer phone number and enable SMS reminders, Nudge will send automated invoice payment reminder text messages to your customer on your behalf. Messages are sent at the enabled fixed due-date-based reminder stages for that invoice.
By enabling SMS reminders for any customer, you represent and warrant that:
You acknowledge that JM Studio LLC (Nudge) sends SMS messages as a service provider acting on your instruction. You, not Nudge, are responsible for ensuring that all applicable federal and state laws — including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) — are complied with in connection with your use of the SMS feature. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JM Studio LLC from any claims, fines, or liabilities arising from your failure to obtain proper consent before sending SMS messages through the platform.
You may not use Nudge to send spam, harass customers, or violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the reminder system.
Nudge and its underlying software, design, and content are owned by JM Studio LLC. You retain ownership of all invoice data and customer information you enter. By using the service, you grant JM Studio LLC a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service to you.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation or suspension changes access to the service but does not itself delete your account data. Account deletion removes application records from active Nudge systems; previously created encrypted disaster-recovery backups rotate out under Nudge's backup-retention process, and narrow records may remain where required by law or compliance obligations. Nudge offers an optional integration with QuickBooks Online. If you connect an account, you authorize Nudge to access customers and invoices through Intuit's authorized API on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with Intuit's Terms of Service. Disconnecting in Settings stops Nudge's future synchronization and removes locally stored QuickBooks access credentials. Nudge attempts to revoke the authorization at Intuit, but that provider-side request may fail if Intuit is unavailable; you can also remove Nudge from your Intuit connected-app settings. Previously imported Nudge records remain until separately deleted.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Nudge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JM Studio LLC's total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed payments or lost business.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Nudge shall be resolved in the courts located in Ohio.
We may update these terms occasionally. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
